1. One important thing that makes me think actively is READING. I can't just read, I need to analyze what it is saying. While I am reading I have to imagine the picture and analyze it. If I think about something else I might not understand what I am reading. Also Reading is thinking actively because it has a purpose to get understanding.
2. An influence in my life that encourages me to think passively is TV. While I am watching TV I am not thinking about anything else, I just watch and relax. TV producer determines what is going to happen and I can't go back to what has happened. Watching TV is passive because I just let events control my thoughts; I am just waiting for thngs to happen.
